Winners - this month’s new release

I’m really excited that today is the launch day of Winners, the second book in the Derry Blake series, originally published in 2004, it is re-released with additional content.  

Winners was my second novel, and is again set in the world of Irish horse racing. My inspiration for Winners came from my interest in exploring how easily a life can change, we can have everything, one moment and then the next it is all taken away from us.

In Winners there are two interwoven storylines. Paris O’Shea, one of Ireland’s top lady jockeys is about to claim the best prize of all – she’s getting married to the dangerously handsome racehorse trainer, Derry Blake.  Just when it seems her world is perfect a terrifying racing accident changes her life forever and she loses both Derry and her home. All Paris wants is to get Derry and her life back. Why then does her heart pound every time she is around the handsome, supportive Kane McCarthy?

Merrianne Ryan is sick of living on the fringes of the glamorous racing world. How hard can it be to find someone rich and good looking to give her the fabulous lifestyle she deserves?  Could Derry Blake be the answer to all her problems?
